SIXTH annual bike safety rodeo!
The Tanner Jeans Memorial Foundation, in cooperation with the City of Snoqualmie Police Department, will be holding
the 6th Annual Tanner Jeans Memorial Bike Safety Rodeo on Saturday, June 12, 2009, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at
the Community Park on Ridge Street in Snoqualmie. This is the largest bike safety rodeo on the Eastside and is free to
the public. Last years event had over 2,000 attendees.
The rodeo will continue to provide police officer assisted bike safety instruction; free bike helmets to those in need;
free bike inspection stations, and a free tee-shirt and certificate to all participants. The Foundation will also host
bike demonstrations by members of Dirt Corp. Dirt Corp is an area bike club responsible for the construction of the bike
course located off of Snoqualmie Parkway. Dirt Corp demonstrations will also allow children the opportunity to learn safe
bike skills when navigating area trails, ramps and bike courses.
