The Tanner Jeans Memorial Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 2004 to memorialize Tanner Nathaniel Jeans. The Foundation desires to memorialize Tanner through the development of various scholarship and child safety programs intended to benefit the children of the Snoqualmie Valley area.

    7th annual Tanner Jeans Memorial Bike Safety Rodeo

    The Tanner Jeans Memorial Foundation (TJMF) will, in partnership with the Snoqualmie Police Department, be hosting the 7th Annual Tanner Jeans Memorial Bike Safety Rodeo on June 11 from 11:00 to 3:00.  The popular event will be held at Cascade View Elementary School this year.  In an effort to promote safe biking over the summer, the event will include police supervised bike instruction, free bike inspections and repairs by Dirt Corps and Gregg's Cycles, free bike helmet inspection and replacement, certificates of completion, and free tee shirts.  Johnsonville Brats will be hosting their ever popular brats and additional snacks and beverages will be provided by local companies.  Face painting, bounce houses, and family oriented exhibitors will be on hand. 

     

     

    Tanner Jeans Memorial Youth Sports Scholarship Program

    The Tanner Jeans Memorial Youth Sports Scholarship Program is available for specific travel or select athletic programs throughout the Snoqualmie Valley. The funding is provided by the Tanner Jeans Memorial Foundation.  The program is administered by Si View Parks Foundation. 

     

    Tanner Jeans Scholarship Information and Application

    Eligible programs include Cascade FC Select Soccer, Rainier Baseball (Select), Falls Little League Traveling Team, Mt Si Lacrosse, Si View Travel Basketball, Wildcat Football, Knuckleballers Baseball Traveling Team.

The Board of the Tanner Jeans Memorial Foundation formally filed for nonprofit status with the State of Washington in December, 2004. As a result, individuals who contributed to the foundation may claim their contribution as a tax deduction if they so desire. In addition, any individual who works for a company that provides a matching gifts program may also apply for the same. If your company provides a matching gifts program, we urge you to consider participating. In some cases, a company may require their employees to complete a form to be sent to our Foundation for final completion before the matching gift may be made.

7th Annual Tanner Jeans Memorial Golf Tournament

For the sixth year, the Tanner Jeans Memorial Golf Tournament will be played at the TPC at Snoqualmie Ridge.  All proceeds will go to the foundation in support of child safety programs across the greater Snoqualmie valley area.
